If you have never made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life- NOW is a good time.  If you feel a tugging in your heart as you read this, that's the Holy Ghost telling you it's time to make the BEST decision you can make- where you'll spend Eternity.  Pray this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus.  Your Word says if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe with my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then was raised from the dead so that I can have Eternal life, I will be saved.

Come into my heart today and wash me clean of all my sins.  Thank you Jesus for your Word.  I confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior and from this moment on, I'm a new creature with a new feature just as your Word says.  Amen.

You are FREE!  Free from sin, condemnation and delivered out of the darkness and have been adopted into the kingdom of God.  You are now in a family that knows NO nationality, color or age.  You are now a member of the body of Christ, an heir of God's kingdom and you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

TALK TO GOD

Talking to God should become a daily part of your routine.  There are many ways to pray but just start by talking to God as if you would talk to your parents or a good friend.  God loves you and wants to hear from you.  He actually wants you to become dependant on him for everything that you have need of.

LET GOD TALK TO YOU

God reveals himself through His Word.  As you read a scripture, ask him what he wants you to know about it, then… be quiet and he will talk to you.  It may not be audible but you will learn to know his voice the more you listen.  That's how you develop a relationship- through communication.

RENEW YOUR MIND

For many years, you have been "slimmed" with all the negative forces of this world… bad jokes, curse words, hate, anger, bitterness, envy, strife, sexual immorality, etc through your eyes, ears and mouth. NOW, you need to delete the garbage from your computer or your mind.  Romans 12:12 explains that as you meditate on the Word of God - you will see change. Amen.

…"but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

SHARE YOUR FAITH

Someone told you about Jesus and being born again- NOW it's your turn.  Be open to talk to others who are searching for Jesus just like you were.  You would be amazed at the hunger that people have.  Just a smile or a hello could help them and then you could share Jesus with them and just tell them what you know and have experienced so far.  As you grow, so will your "Testimony."

FIND A HOME CHURCH

This is key to your spiritual growth!!  Become a member of a local Church.  If you cannot find one, we will help you find one as we are connected to 100's of Churches in the US and all over the world.  Also become active.  Don't just come to Church and sit… get involved!!!  Many Churches and Pastors are just waiting for you to volunteer to help and serve.  A Word of Faith Church will help you to grow spiritually through worshiping, fellowship, evangelism, discipleship and ministering to others.  By joining a home Church, you are sure to please God and keep yourself built up in your faith.

WATER BAPTISM

After you become born again, you will want to get baptized in water.  This is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.   It is an outward showing of the changed person you have become.  The old man goes under and up comes the new man with a clean slate. This is done through your local Church and Pastor.

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST

When you asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life, you were made new by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost or "Holy Guest".  He comes to live on the inside of you and gives you peace with God and imparts the very nature of God in you!  He empowers you to be a witness to others and you too can be used to bring Salvation, Healing and Deliverance.  All you have to do is humble yourself before God and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit… it's a free gift just like Salvation!  (1Corinthians 2:12)  You receive the Holy Spirit by faith, not by feelings.

When you are baptized in the Holy Ghost, an extraordinary thing happens… you are able to speak in another language.  The Holy Ghost gives the utterance, but you do the speaking.  You are praying "in the spirit" and actually speaking mysteries unto God that only He understands… the devil cannot understand it.  Praise God!!

PRAY THIS PRAYER TO RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST:

My heavenly Father, I'm your child and I'm a believer.  Jesus is Lord of my life and I believe that your Word is true.  I am asking you to fill me to overflowing with your precious Holy Spirit.  Jesus, baptize me in the Holy Spirit.  I believe that I receive and I receive because I believe.  I thank you for it.  I believe that the Holy Spirit is in me and by faith I accept it.  Now, Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I give praise to God.  I fully expect to speak with other tongues as you give me the utterance.

Now thank God for baptizing you in the Holy Ghost.  As you do, there will rise up within your spirit certain words and syllables that are unknown to you, so speak by faith.  Don't speak anymore of your own language.  Just begin to speak the syllables that are on your lips.  You can't speak two languages at the same time.  Remember, you are a baby and it takes baby steps to grow.  The Holy Ghost will teach you all things, to lead and guide you into all truth.  The Holy Ghost is your comforter, helper, intercessor, advocate, and strengthener.  You can rely on him, for he lives in you forever.
